Can’t decide where to take the kids on your next family getaway? We LOVE this amazing list of “40 Must-See Places to Take Your Kids before they are Grown” by Ellen Parlapiano of iVillage that was featured on Today Show Parents. Well Traveled Kids author Shayna Fullarton sent me this post from the fall and I agree with every location being superb for families. Checking out the list I see many of my favorite places. Last night over dinner, I was discussing this list with my husband. Both of us have been to many of these places with out kids and we decided to make it a family travel goal of knocking off at least 2 places on the list a year with our 4-year-old son Harry. So far we’re off to a good start having already taken Harry to visit a handful of places on the list like Millennium Park, Sesame Place, The Colorado Rockies, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Waikiki Beach, & Disney World (too many times to count!).
