We did see the Borghese museum and it was incredible, so I’d definitely recommend it if you make a return trip. Our kids left with an appreciation for Bernini and learned to spot his sculptures all over Rome. We did our Vatican tour with Walks of Italy – their shortest tour lasts 2.5 hours and was just perfect with the kids. We had a group of 6 and really loved the personal attention from our expert tour guide.
